Club Products: A Built-In Club Store and Inventory Tracker for Fencing Clubs
Sell equipment, merchandise, and snacks to your members right from FencR — with per-size inventory, Stripe checkout, pickup receipts, and a stock ledger that tracks every change. No Shopify, no spreadsheets.
Every fencing club sells things. Blades and body cords from the back closet, club t-shirts at the season opener, Gatorade from the mini fridge. And almost every club tracks it the same way: a spreadsheet nobody updates, a Venmo screenshot in a group chat, and a coach trying to remember who still owes for that lamé.
Club Products fixes that. It's a full club store and inventory system built directly into FencR — free, like everything else in the platform.

What your members see
Athletes, parents, and coaches get a new Club Products tab in their dashboard: a clean shop showing everything the club currently has in stock — photos, prices, and options. They pick a size, choose a quantity, and pay through Stripe checkout with a card, Apple Pay, or Link. Money goes straight to your club's Stripe account; FencR takes no cut.
Sold out in a size? That option is greyed out. Sold out entirely? The product disappears from the shop until you restock. Members can never buy something you don't have.
After checkout, the purchase appears under My purchases with a receipt: an order code to show at the club, what was bought, what was paid, and a live status — Awaiting pickup until the hand-off happens, then Picked up with the exact date and time. Either the member or an admin can confirm the pickup, and both are recorded.
Members with a question before buying can hit Inquire on any product to email the club directly — useful for sizing questions on jackets and shoes.
What admins get: My Products
Club admins manage everything from a new My Products page with three tabs:
Products is your catalog. Create a product with a name, photo, price, and a type — equipment, merchandise, or food & beverage — plus a category like Blades, Lamé, White Jacket, Apparel, or Footwear. A live preview shows exactly how the card will look to members before you publish it.
Options do the heavy lifting for anything that comes in sizes. Quick fill presets add a whole size run in one click — adult apparel sizes, youth sizes, US shoe sizes, blade sizes (0/2/5), glove sizes, uniform sizes — and each option carries its own stock count and an optional price override.
Not ready to sell something yet? Products and individual options can be toggled visible or hidden with one click. Hidden items keep their history and stock; members simply don't see them.
Purchases is your fulfillment queue. Every order shows the buyer, the item, and its status, with a one-click Fulfill button and the same receipt view members see — including the buyer's name and email so hand-offs at practice are painless.
Inventory is the stock room. Every product's options at a glance, color-coded when stock runs low, with audited plus/minus controls for corrections and restocks.
Inventory that tracks itself
This is the part spreadsheets never get right. In FencR, every stock change is a ledger entry:
- A member buys 2 medium t-shirts → stock drops by 2, automatically, the moment payment lands.
- You receive a shipment and add 20 → recorded as a restock, with your name and a timestamp.
- Something walks off and you correct the count → recorded as an adjustment, same trail.
Open any product from the Inventory tab and you'll see its inventory trend over time alongside a Recent changes feed: every sale, restock, and correction — who, when, how many, and what was left afterward. When two people grab the last item at the same moment, FencR keeps the count honest and flags the conflict for you instead of silently overselling.
Connected to everything else
Because the store lives inside FencR, it's wired into the systems your club already runs on:
- Notifications — every purchase pings your admins in-app and by email, so nothing sits unfulfilled.
- Billing history — each sale is recorded as a paid invoice, so product revenue sits alongside plans and lessons in your club's books.
- Roster-scoped — only your active members can buy. No public storefront, no anonymous orders, no shipping headaches. Everything is picked up at the club.
Like all of FencR, Club Products is completely free — no platform fees, no per-sale cut, no caps. Your club keeps every dollar apart from Stripe's standard card processing.
Set it up in five minutes
The launch checklist is short:
- Connect Stripe (Integrations → Stripe) if you haven't already — the store uses your club's own account.
- Open My Products → Create Product, add a photo and price, and quick-fill your sizes.
- Tell your members to check the Club Products tab.
That's it. The next time someone needs a body cord before a tournament, they can buy it from their phone in the car — and you'll have the notification, the inventory decrement, and the receipt before they walk in the door.
